Welcome to the RERC on Workplace Accommodations

RERC Mission

President Bush's New Freedom Initiative promotes full access to community life for all Americans. The primary objectives of the RERC on Workplace Accommodations are to identify, design, develop, and promote new assistive devices and universally-designed technologies that will enable all individuals, and particularly those with disabilities, to achieve the greatest degree of independence and integration in the workplace. To accomplish its mission, the RERC engages in a comprehensive program of research, development, training, and information dissemination.
